Eagles wings were clipped by a fast paced, physically challenging Accrington outfit, who have become somewhat of a nemesis for Culcheth.
This was a game too far for the Eagles after two big games in the previous week, injuries, tired bodies and lack of focus took its toll. Tries from Ryan Williams and Colin Mitchinson were not enough to give Eagles any foothold in a game dominated by the home side, special mention to U18s Liam Pleavin and Brad Morris who stepped up and were a credit to themselves and the club.
