Culcheth Eagles ARLFC Junior Section was formed 6 years ago fielding one team in the North West Counties League at under 11s age group with a training squad of 12. In 2006 /7 The Juniors are fielding teams in 5 age groups in the North West Counties (Under 17s, Under 15s, Under 13s, Under 12s and Under 10s) and the under 8s side will be playing before Christmas this season.

Last season 2 under 16’s represented Warrington in the very successfull tour of Australia and one of those players Danny Martin has now been given a contract with Warrington Wolves.

Currently there are over 100 juniors throughout the age groups and links with local schools are helping to bolster numbers. As a club we currently work actively with Birchwood High School and Culcheth High School. Culcheth Eagles coaches worked with Croft Primary School prior to their first venture into schools rugby league this year and as a result of this a joint venture between the school and the Eagles will see the launch of an after-schools Rugby Club shortly.

Culcheth Eagles were awarded the prestigous Sport England Clubmark award in 2003 at the opening game of the Superleague season at the Haliwell Jones Stadium and this was recently updated and revalidated.
